Seven ideas to improve your wellbeing and therefore your performance

The question I was asked most was so, what should I start with? Here are seven things you can start tomorrow, with a little more on how each one works.
- Relationships. Simply over invest in your partner, your family and your friends. This has been proven as the main driver of fulfilment in life.
- Gratitude journal. Probably the simplest and most impactful method to train your brain to focus on the positive.
- Practise the CIA tool. This model, Control, Influence, Accept, moves your focus away from the demand, the stressful element, to what you can actually control, and gives you back ownership.
- Know your strengths. You might not see the results straight away, but it feeds your thinking when it comes to career choice and meaning.
- Write your vision. Very powerful and therefore demanding, because it forces you to focus on what matters to you.
- Look after your health. The right amount of sleep and exercise makes you happier than money, once you are past a comfortable level.
- Get involved in a community or a charity. Any act of kindness has a positive impact not only on the person who receives it, but also on the person who carries it out.
I look forward to hearing what you have tried and what you would recommend.
Put it into practice.
