Focus on what you can control

I was lucky enough to attend an Airbnb experience about positive thinking with Stephen Miller, a British athlete who won five Olympic medals. He shared his truly inspiring story about positive thinking, growth mindset and resilience.
It resonated with the CIA model used in coaching, which invites us, when we face a challenge, to define what we can:
- Control. the part that is genuinely yours to change.
- Influence. the part you can nudge but not decide.
- Accept. the rest, which you can only let be.
There will always be stretches where we have a great deal to accept and very little to control. What matters, as Stephen said, is how we react to it.
Put it into practice.
